Join the Yard Team at Glover Nursery

• Herbaceous Department Team::
  • Salary ranges from $12-$14/hr depending on prior experience.
  • Assist in maintaining the nursery by helping to load/unload deliveries, watering plants, organizing and stocking products from shipments.
  • Answer questions about material or direct guests to appropriate sales associate for assistance.
  • Job requires the ability to lift 30 lbs and work outside efficiently every day.
• Waterer / Front Loader Team:
  • Salary starts at $12/hr, depending on prior experience.  Increase available at manager’s discretion.
  • Greet guests and assist with loading/unloading product in guest and nursery vehicles, gather and put away carts in designated areas, clean up garbage, sweep parking lot and surrounding areas.
  • Water plants throughout the nursery in timely manner, move product to inventory areas, weed and organize inventory areas, maintain equipment used, and follow basic care instructions
  • Job requires the ability to move heavy hoses, lift 50 lbs and stand on uneven surfaces for long periods of time, a friendly attitude, and work outside efficiently every day.
  • Role will alternate between watering and front loading as needed.
• Gate Checker:
  • Salary starts at $14/hr, depending on prior experience.  Increase available at manager’s discretion.
  • Greet guests and direct incoming guests as needed. 
  • Check receipts for accuracy as guests exit.  
  • Assist with directing traffic in the parking lot.
  • Job requires the ability to work outside efficiently every day and organize flow of incoming and outgoing traffic.
• Operator:
  • Salary range is $14-$18/hr, depending on prior experience.  Increase available at manager’s discretion.
  • Assist in operating a safe and clean nursery by loading/unloading incoming and outgoing materials, maintaining equipment, sweeping and cleaning throughout the nursery, watering, weeding, planting, and assisting guests.
  • Be able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors efficiently every day.
  • Knowledge of forklift and skid-steer preferred.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must pass a drug test to operate equipment.
  • This position requires Full Time hours and prior work experience in a related field.
