About Us

Our humble beginnings start back in the late 1950's when a group of local nursery professionals and local growers wanted to develop an association to better the green industry. The UNLA provides us the opportunity to participate in the largest gathering of green industry professionals in the state of Utah.

The Utah Nursery & Landscape Association (UNLA), a not-for-profit association, is the state’s oldest and largest green industry trade organization. Since 1950, our association has represented and served the nursery and greenhouse growers, garden centers, irrigation contractors, landscape contractors, industry suppliers, and a wide range of landscape professionals. We have over 350 members that include licensed firms and organizations engaged in green industry businesses, allied trades that provide equipment and services to our members, individuals working in or affiliated with the green industry, educators, and students.

Our mission is to advance the green industry in the State of Utah and promote the intellectual, business, and social interests of its members. The UNLA hosts several events and educational opportunities for its members, including the Utah Green Industry Conference and Trade Show which is our main event of the year.
