Utah State University’s Water Check Program has been providing free landscape and irrigation evaluations for more than 20 years with the support of numerous funding partners. Learn about the origins of the program, how it’s changed over time, and—most importantly—how much water program participants have saved as a result of program participation.
Our Speaker Dr. Kelly Kopp is a Professor and Extension Specialist in the Plants, Soils & Climate department at Utah State University, where her research efforts are focused on landscape water conservation and sustainable turfgrass management. She is also the director of USU's Center for Water Efficient. She works directly with many of the federal, state, and municipal agencies that are working toward achieving water use efficiency in the state of Utah, the Intermountain West, and beyond.
