Keynote Speaker: Tish Buroker, Riverton City Mayor 
Join Riverton Mayor Tish Buroker over lunch as she presents The Unlikely Journey to Becoming a Woman in the Green, a personal look at navigating self‑doubt, seizing opportunity, and finding one’s voice in underrepresented spaces.
Tish Buroker was elected mayor of Riverton in November 2025 and sworn into office on January 6, 2026. She previously served on the Riverton City Council beginning in 2017.  Before entering public office, Mayor Buroker built a 38-year career across diverse healthcare environments, including long-term care, the American Red Cross, and as a nurse manager in a psychiatric hospital. She transitioned into the clinical laboratory field in 1994 as a manager, was promoted to general manager in 1998, and retired in 2014 as Vice President of Operations for LabCorp.  In that executive role, she directed day-to-day operations for four regional laboratories located in Salt Lake City, Kansas, Denver, and Phoenix, as well as six satellite laboratories spanning Idaho, Nevada, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming.  Following her retirement, Mayor Buroker continued her service through several boards and community roles, including Community Development and Block Grants representing Riverton, the Riverton Historical Commission, and the Jordan River Commission. She also volunteered as a hospice volunteer and as a court advocate for the State of Utah.  She currently serves as a community board chair for the Quality Assurance Committee for Intermountain Health and the WFRC Economic Development Committee.
