Introduction: Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) Conservation has implemented landscape water conservation programs for more than 20 years, achieving strong water-saving results. This presentation will highlight background research from the late 1990s that evaluated water use across different landscape types and irrigation methods to develop appropriate water conservation plans. It will also discuss SNWA's major conservation programs, community water management efforts, and the water saving achieved through these initiatives.

Our Presenter: Toby Bickmore is a Conservation Services Administrator with the Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA), where he has worked in conservation for more than 20 years. He helps oversee residential conservation programs, including Water Smart Landscapes, smart irrigation controller and leak detection coupons, WaterSmart Plumber, and Residential Site Evaluation programs. Toby also supports community outreach by teaching irrigation and landscaping classes and presenting to local businesses, associations, and schools. He holds an MBA from UNLV and certifications in landscape irrigation auditing, conservation, and site water management planning.
