Professional Bio
Gregory D. Berg is the owner of Landscape Design Services, LLC, bringing more than 35 years of green industry experience and over 25 years of professional landscape design expertise. Since beginning his career in 1991, Greg has developed a passion for creating outdoor spaces that are both beautiful and functional. Jen his wife helps him in the business with over 10 years of landscape admin experience.
Based in Cedar City Utah serving primarily Southern and central Utah, Greg specializes in professional 2D landscape plans, detailed 3D renderings, and immersive fly-through videos that help homeowners and landscape contractors visualize a project before construction begins. His hands-on industry experience, personal approach, and attention to detail allow him to create practical, buildable designs tailored to each client's property, lifestyle, and vision. Greg does design all over Utah and the United States with strong ties to Minnesota and Wisconsin. Greg has been known to fly in for special outstate projects as needed.
Greg believes every great landscape starts with a great design—and that the best results come from working directly with clients and quality landscape contractors to develop one of a kind unique residential landscapes. Greg uses his experience to help guide contractors as needed to for the best possible results for them and their clients. Greg will often align his homeowner clients with just the right contractor to do the installation. Greg primarily works in Utah in person with MN landscapes coming in a close second. Other states include NV, CA, AZ, MN , WI ,IA IL, KS, MO, NC , FL, TX, WA
In his spare time he enjoys time with family, traveling with his wife, hiking, adventure motorcycling, side by side trail riding , snowboarding, and their three dogs Boon ( Coon Hound) , Maggie ( Yellow Lab) and Moses ( Chocolate Labradoodle)... And of course trying a new juniper in the yard and pruning Utah junipers into Giant topiary trees!
