Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00 / hour based on experience

Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Greenhouse Worker & Maintenance Assistant to help keep our greenhouse thriving and running smoothly.
This is a versatile role perfect for someone who loves working with plants but also enjoys working with their hands. Your primary focus will be daily greenhouse care and plant maintenance, with about one day a week dedicated to trimming and shaping our indoor trees. You will also serve as our go-to "handy" person for basic fixes around the facility when minor issues pop up.

Key Responsibilities
Daily Greenhouse Care
•        Assist with day-to-day plant care, including watering, monitoring plant health, and maintaining a clean, organized greenhouse environment.
•        Monitor greenhouse temperature and ventilation to ensure a proper environment for growth.
•        Clean-up and Set-up of venue for events.
Weekly Tree Trimming & Pruning
•        Dedicate approximately one day per week to the care, pruning, and shaping of our live indoor trees using standard hand tools and pruners to keep them looking beautiful and fitting perfectly within the space.
Light Maintenance & Basic Fixes
•        Handle basic, everyday handy work around the facility as needed (e.g., clearing a clogged line, tightening hardware, fixing simple irrigation leaks, replacement of cooler pads or replacing a fan belt).
•        Report any major equipment issues that require an outside contractor to management.
Qualifications & Skills
•        Experience: Previous experience working in a greenhouse, nursery, landscaping, or property maintenance role is highly preferred.
•        Handy with Tools: Comfortable using basic hand tools, power tools, and pruners safely.
•        Tree/Plant Comfort: Experience or comfort with basic tree trimming and pruning (professional certification is not required; we will guide you on our specific trees).
•        Reliable & Observant: A keen eye for detail to spot plant health issues or equipment that needs a quick fix.
•        Physical Demands: Ability to be on your feet, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and work comfortably on ladders in a warm greenhouse environment.
