Introduction: This presentation will introduce the core principles of water-wise landscape design and provides a practical framework for getting started. It will also highlights how thoughtful planning can significantly reduce water use while maintaining functional and attractive outdoor spaces.

Our Presenter: Rowe Zwahlen, is an Extension Assistant Professor at Utah State University Extension in Emery County, Utah. He holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of New Mexico and a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from Brigham Young University. Prior to joining USU Extension, Rowe worked in the green industry, gaining practical experience that informs his current work. He values the opportunity Extension provides to serve his community and help others connect with the natural world through education and outreach.
