Event Details

WCWCD is proud to offer the Qualified Water Landscaper (QWEL) program.  The 20 hour program includes the following topics: understanding local water supplies, irrigation sustainability/efficiency, soil, water management techniques, irrigation controller programming, irrigation troubleshooting.

The training includes 3 sessions and will be held at Ivins City Hall (85 N Main St, Ivins 84738):

Wednesday, February 25 and Thursday, February 26, 2026 (Audit/Simulated Audit Performed) from 8:15 am to 5:00 pm

Friday, February 27 (Exam) 8:15 am to 12:15 pm

  •  Lunch is included Wednesday & Thursday

After you register for the seminar and test on this website you MUST create an account and register at www.qwel.net .

Training Cost & Fee Waiver Information
  • Course fee: $100
  • Test fee: $50

Washington County Water Conservation District will cover 50% of the total fee for registrants who have a home or business address in Washington County, including both institutional and commercial participants.

If you are eligible for this 50% fee waiver, please email shital.poudyal@usu.edu to receive further instructions.
