Central Utah Water Conservancy District Update

Utah has definitely seen an increased snow pack this year, bringing hope that our water situation will improve.  Regardless, it’s still important to be as efficient as possible with the water we have in order to support our growing population.

This year, Central Utah Water Conservancy District will be offering multiple landscape incentive programs in cities within our service area that have adopted water efficiency standards and ordinances.  The updated information about these programs is not yet available, but links to where this information will be later this spring is provided.  The following is a summary of each of the programs:

  • Residential Landscape Conversion Program
    • For homeowners who are converting lawn areas to water-efficient landscaping

  • Home Builder Rewards Program
    • For home builders who install water efficient landscapes on new single-family home properties

  • Landscape Leadership Grant Program
    • For businesses, institutions, HOAs, and other organizations that are converting lawn areas to water-efficient landscaping or are installing new landscapes to a high level of water efficiency
